In this mad shooting spree it is believed that over 1000 innocent people lost their lives. The number of the wounded people stood at an alarming figure of 2000. The bullet marks of this brazen act of General Dyer can still be seen on the walls of the Park .

6th Day: Amritsar-Chandigarh - Immediately after the sumptuous breakfast on the sixth day , the tourists proceeds to the Union Territory of Chandigarh .
